Lindsay, Financial Coordinator
Lindsay is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College, and before switching to the business side of dentistry, she was a dental assistant in an endodontic specialty practice for six years. Today, she has over 15 years of experience in the dental field and enjoys using both her clinical knowledge and insurance/financial expertise to help patients maximize their dental benefits while getting the best quality care.
Lindsay has one daughter, Sophia, and is a bonus mom to her boyfriend Tyler’s young son, Xander. She was a competition dancer growing up, and she’s grateful to now support her daughter who both dances and cheers. As soon as she gets off work, she starts her “second job” of driving Sophia between all of her various activities. When she has time to relax, you’ll often find her home with family and cuddling with her two dogs (a boxer/pitbull mix and a chihuahua mix).
Marisha, Appointment Coordinator
Everyone Marisha talks to is a friend, so it’s appropriate that she’s in a position where she meets and greets people every day! She is a dental assistant and a graduate of Coastal Carolina Community College. Away from the office, she likes to visit her mother and grandmother, make cupcakes, and coach track and field for a local high school.
Carina, Appointment Coordinator & Marketing
Carina says that it’s the people she works with that make her job truly special, referring to both our patients as well as her fellow team members. She comes from Brazil and completed college there before making the U.S. her home.
Carina and her husband have four children together, including two sons and two stepsons who currently live in England. She loves being with family, and going to the beach, and is a Reiki practitioner.
Melissa, Dental Hygienist
Melissa is originally from Massachusetts, and she earned her dental hygiene degree and began her career there. She joined our practice in 2023 and likes educating our patients on the importance of oral health while also connecting with them on a personal level.
A longtime pescatarian and huge animal lover (especially cats!), Melissa primarily spends her downtime with her significant other trying new restaurants, binging shows, doing puzzles, and hiking when the weather is nice. Basically, if the sun is out, so is she, so you’ll often find her by the pool, going on a walk, or just sitting on her porch on warmer days.
Amy, Dental Assistant
Amy is a graduate of the Charlotte Dental Assistant School, and her favorite part about dentistry is that it allows her to constantly learn and improve. She has experience with coronal polishing, fillings, and extractions, as well as dental crown prep and seating, and she is always ready to pick up more skills!
Originally from Monroe, Amy’s free time is mostly dedicated to dancing, playing the piano, traveling, and hanging out with family.
Audrey, Dental Assistant
Audrey attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington before obtaining her dental training at Premier Dental Assisting Academy in Charlotte. For her, the warm and welcoming atmosphere that helps everyone feel right at home is the best part of our practice.
Audrey’s mom and older brother live in Denver, and at home, she likes to cuddle with her three cats, bake, paint, and cross stitch.
Temaria, Dental Assistant
Temaria has been with our practice for over 15 years and has 25+ years of dental experience overall. A graduate of York Technical College, she uses every day as an opportunity to make people’s lives better in whatever way she can. She is also a lifelong learner and likes reading about and even trying new dental technologies.
When not taking care of patients, Temaria likes to craft, decorate her home, travel, enjoy nature, and hang out with family.
